We attended NPV’s annual seminar last week at De Rode Hoed, centred around the theme Changemakers.

The key takeaway? Europe has spent years scaling trade; import, export, volume but we forgot to build strategic self-sufficiency. Now, with rising geopolitical tensions, that poses major risks. Not just for politics, but also for businesses: it’s impacting operating models, supply chains, and decision-making. Adapting to those circumstances requires a rethink of resilience and how we operate.
