Why do acquisition strategies break down at scale

A pattern we see today is that acquisitions have become the main growth strategy, mainly because they look like the quickest and easiest way to scale.

But acquisitions don’t automatically make a company bigger or better, they really just show how well it already works.

Every gap in processes, leadership, and execution gets bigger once you add another company on top.

And when the foundation isn’t ready for the next level, more deals don’t help. They just create confusion, and the advantages you were hoping for start to disappear.
