What we’re seeing isn’t an AI problem, but a leadership and operating-model failure. AI is introduced into organizations where decision-making processes are unclear, and value creation still relies on old logic.
As a result, AI becomes a way to “show” progress, but without delivering ROI. Governance risk increases and internal fractures between “AI elites” and the rest of the organization arise.
The leaders that will succeed will not be the ones blindly adopting AI. They’ll be the ones that redesign how leadership, accountability and value creation work alongside AI.
